We offer a variety of meal plan options to meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff across campus. Whether you’re looking for flexibility or convenience, you’ll find options that will help you make the most of your dining experience.
What's Included
Meal Swipes
Meal Swipes can be used exclusively at our residential dining facility, Leo O’Donovan Hall, at the following locations:
- The Table @ Leo’s (lower evel)
- Leo’s Market Food Hall (upper level, select locations): Whisk, 5Spice, Launch Test Kitchen, Bodega Deli, Olive Branch, Sazon
Flex Dollars
Designed to add variety, convenience, and flexibility to your meal plan. They work just like cash and are accepted at all Hoya Hospitality locations.
- Additional Flex Dollars can be added at any time.
- A student must have a valid meal plan to add additional Flex Dollars. Flex Dollars are nonrefundable.
- Flex dollars roll over from Fall to Spring but expire at the end of each Spring semester.
Meal Exchange
Meal Exchange allows you to use a traditional meal plan at select retail dining locations instead of the main dining hall. You can also use Meal Exchange to pre-order and pick up meals through Grubhub.
Meal Exchange is accepted at the following campus dining locations:
- Crop Chop (Leavey Center)
- Royal Jacket (Leavey Center)
- Einstein Bros. Bagels (Car Barn)
- Epicurean (Darnall Hall)
- Sushi Do (Leo’s Market) – Note: Orders must be placed via Grubhub.
Guest Meals
Guest meals included with each Meal Plan can be used exclusively at The Table, located on the lower level of Leo O’Donovan Hall.

To enroll in or change your meal plan, visit the GU Housing Portal
All on campus residential undergraduate students are required to enroll in a meal plan. If you would like to add additional Flex Dollars to your plan you can do so at any time by visiting the GoCard Portal.
Yes you can! If you would like to purchase a voluntary meal plan, visit the GU Housing Portal.
All on campus residential students have a minimum required meal plan based on academic class year.
- Meal plans can be upgraded until September 6th through the GU Housing Portal
- To request accomodations on the basis of a medical condition or disability, please visit the GU Academic Resource Center
Fall meal plans begin Thursday August 20th, 2026, at breakfast (7am).
Any changes made to meal plan enrollment between Thursday August 20th and Friday September 4th, 2026, will result in prorated charges

Your weekly Meal Exchange allotment begins on Sundays and ends on Saturdays.
Flex Dollars are included in your meal plan and can be used for food at any Hoya Hospitality location. You must have a meal plan to purchase Flex Dollars, which can be added to any meal plan at any time during the year through the GoCard Portal.
- Flex Dollar balances carry over between semesters.
- Unused Flex Dollars expire at the end of the Spring semester.
A transition tax is applied to Flex Dollars and credit card sales.
When purchasing a meal plan, Flex Dollars are not taxed.
The Table @ Leo’s, located on the lower level of Leo O’Donovan Hall, is the only location where Guest meals are accepted.
Yes, take your food on the go by opting into our Reusable To-Go Program
Absolutely! We do everything possible to accommodate your dietary needs, restrictions, and preferences.
For our dining program, each menu item served daily will have an accompanying label that details ingredients and dietary identifiers (e.g.: vegan, vegetarian, and made without gluten). See our Nutrition & Wellness page to learn more or reach out to our team. You can also see our menu options ahead of time on our Menu & Hours page.

All funds and plans purchased for use in Hoya Hospitality dining locations are for the personal use of the owner of the account or plan only and are non-transferable. Meals may not be bought or sold, and meal plan holder must accompany guest when using guest meals.
The Hoya Hospitality Dining Program funds and plans cannot be used as a gift card or gift certificate.
Except as otherwise expressly stated in these terms, all Hoya Hospitality Dining Program funds and plans are non-refundable and will expire at the end of the current year Spring semester.
